Chimney at night

Chimney with water tanks in the evening. On the recommendation of Walter Gropius, Carl Benscheidt employed the graphic designer Max Hertwig, who designed the dynamic company logo—it has a lively feel to it, like a handwritten signature. You can see it now on your screen. Hertwig switched the colors around and put the company name in white on a black background. In doing so, he achieved a more intense effect, with the white letters seeming to stand out from the black background and almost jump out at the observer.
