Chinese American Women Strike - National Dollar Store

In 1938, at 15 weeks, the strike of Chinese women at the Joe Shoong’s National Dollar Stores sewing factory, helped establish the Chinese Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union and was one of the longest strikes in San Francisco history.
