Chisternon undatum

Real Fossil - Lower Eocene 50 Mya - Green River Formation Wyoming
This species is identified by its round shell and lightly built skull with large eyes. Found in mid-lake deposits, it most likely fed on fish, crayfish, shrimp and clams.
