The frieze is decorated with pairs of winged cherubs supporting shields with chivalrous feats referring to illustrious figures of the House of Savoy, inserted in a space that simulates an opening delimited by a coffered celetto and by geometric decorations. A long scroll with the inscription INFESTUS · INFESTIS" winds around the cherubs holding up a shield in which the company stands out on the gold background, an elephant with some sheep, which is matched at the bottom by the name "EM · FILIBERTUS", Emanuele Filiberto (1528 -1580), Duke of Savoy. The enterprise is also reproduced in some coins minted in 1562 in which the elephant is represented in the act of driving away a flock of sheep with its trunk. The prince of the House of Savoy who managed to regain the A Savoy duchy, endowed with courage, pride and a profound sense of royalty, it is associated with an enterprise that has as its protagonist the elephant, an animal with a benign temperament, "enemy to enemies" and hostile only to those who resist it.
