Marie says: "My daughter, Chloë Meehan, is a specialist respiratory physiotherapist in the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. She has been working in ICU with Covid-19 patients since the start of the crisis. As her mother, I’ve been so worried about her because I know her dedication to her patients is limitless. She’s the most determined, hard working and caring person. Her PPE has become a bit of an obsession with me. This photo, and the others she sent (on which I based my pictures), exemplify to me everything there is to admire about Chloë and all the wonderful staff in the NHS."
Chloë says: "Mum’s art has always been a comfort to me and reminds me of home. To reassure Mum that we’re safe and protected I sent a pic of me just before heading on to the Covid-19 ICU, sporting a new type of funny looking hood. A short while later I got a gorgeous sketch back. To me it portrays love, strength and change."
