Chojnik Castle (German: Kynast) - a historic castle located near Jelenia Góra-Sobieszów, on the top of Chojnik Mountain in the Karkonosze Mountains. This mountain rises to a height of 627 meters above sea level, and on its south-eastern side there is a 150-meter cliff descending to the so-called Hell Valley. The stronghold is located in a strictly protected area, which is part of the Karkonosze National Park, in Lower Silesia, Poland.
