This outer garment with long sleeves is called Choken which is a noh costume used for a female role. The sides of the main panel are not seamed so that the front and back panels can be separated. It features large bouquet patterns of chrysanthemums and scattered patterns of irises which are woven with gold thread on the purple silk gauze. The bouquet pattern is placed on five parts, three on the back and two on the front. Each pattern has a different color arrangement, which gives us a gorgeous impression.
