Replica Fossil - Late Cretaceous 70 Mya - Mongolia
Conchoraptor was a small oviraptor, a group of dinosaurs considered bird - like because of several shared characteristics, including the presence of a
wishbone and beak. Unlike other oviraptors, this animal lacks a prominent
head crest and is physically smaller than most other species. This led researchers to classify it as a separate genus.
