Chowki (Low surface)

This chowki was made of carved wooden legs fixed to horizontal members using mortise and tenon joinery. A wooden plank fixed on top of the frame formed the horizontal surface of the chowki. This chowki, along with other items of vernacular furniture, was stored in the upper level of the house.
