Martin says: "Chris' features reflect the youth and enthusiasm of so many of our NHS heroes. It seemed a pity to hide them behind all that bulky PPE kit. So this is a double portrait of a dedicated young doctor taken from his PHD studies to work in urgent care, masked and unmasked."

Chris says: "Hard to put into words my emotions at the moment, it's incredible that you'd give your time and effort to paint me! Usually I'd see portraits to be reserved for politicians, head of state, senior members of institutes, so I feel honoured to be offered this now."
