Christ Crucified

This work of art is a magnificent example of the main artist to carry on the legacy of El Greco's studio; both the elongated proportions as well as the violence of the chiaroscuro and the model of the face come from El Greco, although Luís Tristán was able to imbue his work with a personality of its own which establishes him as the only painter from El Greco's studio whose personality transcended into the history of painting.
