The stained glass windows belong to the group of eight stained glass compositions by Józef Mehoffer, created in the years 1895–1919 in the aisles of the Fribourg Cathedral in Switzerland.
Thanks to the wealth of small, intricately refined details and luminous colors, Józef Mehoffer obtained an extraordinary decorative effect in the stained glass cartons. These projects are undoubtedly among his most outstanding works in the field of monumental art of the modernist period.
