The church houses one of the most complete and splendid cycles of stuccoes from Ragusa, attributed to Giuseppe Gianforma from Palermo, the most important stucco artist of the Sicilian eighteenth century. The large stucco panels, thirteen in all, dating back to the mid-18th century, cover both the vault of the central nave and those of the transept, the chapels, the presbytery and the top part of the pillars. The high-reliefs reproduce scenes from the Old and New Testament and are monochromatic on a blue background
