Circular Saw from the Old Mill, Stott Park Bobbin Mill

This is a circular saw, and it was used for the first stage of bobbin making. The poles of coppiced wood were cut into blocks to be turned into lathes. The operator would use another block of wood to position the block.This is located in the Old Mill which was built in 1835.
