    HERARIUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA Cirsium undulatum (Nutt.) Spreng. New Mexico. Otero do. : 5.8 miles west of Clouderoft. Growing in loose gravel of mountain side and along roadway. Common. Stems 3-5 ft. tall, branched from below the middle; leaves permanently tomentose beneath, flocoose or arachnose above when young, soon becoming glabrate.
