Citation of Honor - Pearl Harbor

United States Army Air Forces Citation of Honor: Private First Class Louis Schleifer who gave his life in the performance of his duty. December 7, 1941. Schleifer was killed by machine gun fire at 9:30 on the morning of December 7, 1941 while attempting to get the crew of his plane out of danger when Hickam Field was attacked by the Japanese.
