City of Portland Proclamation for a Vanport Day Of Remembrance

Every year, as part of the annual Vanport Mosaic Festival, Vanport survivors, descendants, and Vanport Mosaic memory activists gather at City Hal for the Mayor's Proclamation for Vanport Day of Remembrance, commemorating the anniversary of the flood that destroyed Vanport on May 30th, 1948.
