Ukrainian naturalized Brazilian, the award-winning autor Clarice Lispector is considered one of the most important Brazilian writers of the twentieth century and has been translated into more than 10 languages, from Czech to Japanese. Authored by Edgar Duvivier, the sculpture that brings Clarice with his companion, the dog UIisses, is in the neighborhood of Leme, where she lived for 12 years. (1920 - 1977)
