The Marigaux "RS Symphonie" model clarinet, designed and created in collaboration with Roland Simoncini, lead soloist of the Orchestre National de France, represents a phase in the history of Marigaux: traditionally a manufacturer of oboes, the company built clarinets from approximately 1980 to 2001. The RS Symphonie model was a high-end instrument for professional musicians. This is the only Marigaux clarinet in the collections.
