Clarinet was found as early as 1733 and has its roots in the early hornpipes used in Ancient Greece, Middle East and Europe. Clarinet bodies are made from a variety of materials including wood, resin and ivory. Clarinet has been found on Karnatik and Hindustani concert platforms.
