CLASS 3rd CARRIAGE FNM

This Ferrovie Nord Milano car could accommodate 60 seated passengers, for a maximum load of 15 tons. Although intended for third class, it was equipped with some small luxuries like oil lighting – which was then replaced by battery-powered electric lighting - and luggage shelves. It could sustain a speed of 70 km/h, although at the time of its construction there were very few engines and railways that allowed such speeds.
