National Treasure. One of the 18th century clavichords built in Lisbon and Porto's workshops that integrates the Museum's collection, recognizable for its distinct characteristics.

The clavichord is a keyboard instrument with strings plucked by tangents that arose in the early years of the 15th century. Its weak sonorous intensity made it a solo instrument to be played in an intimate atmosphere. In Portugal, during the the 15th and 16th centuries, it assumed an important role in the musical practice of the convents and churches.
