Clayhall Cemetery, also known as the Royal Naval Cemetery, Haslar, opened in 1859. It provided a new site for burials of patients from the nearby Royal Naval Hospital. Constructed in red brick with blue brick detailing and limestone dressings, the cemetery chapel was located centrally within the new cemetery. The chapel is listed Grade II.
