Clock Tower and Merchants Place

The clock tower and trade rows were built in the late nineteenth - early twentieth century. It stands out from the local architecture and resembles the half-timbered houses of Northern Europe. The upper tier of the tower is decorated with a clock. According to the engraving on its metal gear, the clock was made by Johann Mannhardt – a renowned European manufacturer of tower clocks.
