Building's elements draw inspiration from the surrounding context. Features like the ocean, waves, and nautical imagery have been incorporated into the building design. Notice the porthole windows and red ship-deck-like railings installed on the balcony sill of the building.

This building is a part of 'The Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai', a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was inscribed to the list on June 30, 2018.
