The traditional farmers from the Boyacá would wear hat made with materials use for the tapia pisada method of building houses, with a fique structure with a wool ski mask underneath the hat for the colder climates of the region, a neckless wool shirt, a dril pants, fique espandrilles and a ruana. All these elements combined show the European and indigenous mixed race traits of the area.
