Lehi, United States

Clovis points were made by people living in North America over 10,000 years ago. Clovis points were very effective multipurpose tools. Many archaeologists believe that the extinction of Ice Age mammals, like the mammoth, were due to Clovis technology. The first Clovis points were discovered around 1930 near Clovis, New Mexico. They have since been found all over North America and South America.
