Coat of Arms from the Monte di Pietà, one of the eight original Neapolitan public banks which later were unified to create the Banco di Napoli. The bank was created in 1539 in order to give free loans to people in need. The coat of arms was drawn on the edge of the textblock of one of the ledgers in the Historical Archives.
