Black silk taffeta cocktail dress; below-mid calf length; narrow, plunging V-neckline; high standing ruff collar; long sleeves, two button double ruffle cuff; fitted natural waist; broomstick pleated boned bodice overlaid by unpleated narrow drape from either side bust; similarly festsooned back; broomstick pleated and flounced skirt from center front thigh rising to below center back hips; six covered buttons with piping loops center front, proper left zipper closure; stiffened net skirt facing.
