Coffee as a Dish

Buna Qalaa, literally meaning /coffee slaughtering/ is a special dish prepared from coffee beans. Sun dried coffee beans are roasted in butter in a pot called qelo buna, when the Buna Qalaa is ready, it is poured into traditional wooden bowl, like the one in the picture and is served with: sugar, honey, more butter and fresh milk.
