The collegiate church of Pastrana was originally erected around the 14th century as parish church of the Villa Calatrava. Elements and details were added, such as the northern façade, which was built in late-15th century gothic style; or the great extension of the naves and the transept in the first half of the 17th century. It hosts the splendid parish museum, full of works, where the gothic tapestries of Alfonso V of Portugal stand out.
