To recreate the atmosphere of 18th-century Bologna, three Baroque salons were designed for the 1936 exhibition at Palazzo d'Accursio. These salons were adorned with textiles commissioned from a local manufacturer, reflecting the city's long tradition of silk production. These fabrics, made in the style of the 18th century, showcase the last moments of a centuries-old Bolognese craft that was nearly extinguished by World War II.
