Collyhurst flats under construction, Manchester

This Manchester Corporation scheme cleared terraced housing in Collyhurst and built new flats. Traces of the old street pattern can be seen in the cleared area. Blocks of high-rise flats replaced these flats and surrounding terraces in the 1960s.
