People tend to make different styles of Colored Steam buns on Chinese holidays. You can make a peach design steam bun symbolic of the blessing of health on an elder's birthday, or you could make a tiger design wishing the month-old baby safe and sound; when girls get married, a tiger head wonton design means the best wishes to the marriage.
