This colossal-sized head of a man is inscribed with hieroglyphs on a back pillar, identifying him as a “priest of Horemheb of Pakhyt.” Horemheb may have been a pre-Christian Egyptian saint. (The location of Pakhyt is unknown.) A scene is carved on the back side, which includes a partially broken figure of Horemheb worshiping the divine Theban triad of Amen-Re, Mut, and Khonsu.
