Tash Hauli is a Palace complex in Khiva, the main Palace of Khiva khans. The Palace was built for about 8 years. The entire Palace was decorated by the famous master Abdullah, who was popularly nicknamed "Genius". The facade of the Palace and the walls of the rooms in the courtyards are covered with mosaic majolica with magnificent carpet ornaments in traditional Khiva combinations of blue, ultramarine and white tones. Especially impressive is the unique ornamental carvings on wooden columns.
