Communal Lounge

Sara Berman painted a shelving unit incorporating books and indoor plants in the Communal Lounge creating a cosy, domestic, engaging space. The books allude to other worlds, knowledge and clarity. Some of their spines include mantras such as: Every Journey Starts With a Single Step, This Too Shall Pass, You are Enough’. The plants are calming and optimistically domestic but also symbolic of growth, nurturing and the passage of time.
