Composition

The painting was purchased by the spouses Boschi Di Stefano during the young artist's stay in Milan. It is exhibited in the master bathroom. Rumney is reaching the maturity of his pictorial style through the use of white which gives unity to the whole. The presence of red, yellow, purple and green textured brushstrokes adds considerable liveliness to the work, while under the color the grid of the canvas emerges.
