This microscope has a straight tube with a consistent diameter, which houses the eyepiece and lens at each end. The tube can move vertically for macroscopic focusing. Fixed focusing is achieved using a screw on the back of the tube. The pillar has an internal triangular element that moves inside a circular piece on a rack mechanism, which is controlled with 2 side screws that move the tube. The quadrangular stage moves in 2 directions using screws on its lower face. Below it is the mirror, which reflects light toward the item to be examined. The entire microscope body tilts at the back, and the bottom third bends thanks to an articulated screw, which holds it to the pedestal. The double pedestal rests on the horseshoe-shaped base with its front limbs angled outward, and a small rear extension balances the central mass when the microscope is tilted.
