Hexagon object made with wood on each end, connected with folded material. Each end has fabric handles and buttons.

The concertina is a musical instrument that was quite popular in the mid 1800s. While similar in principle to an accordion, it was smaller and had several internal and external differences. While Old Miss Barry covered the cost of Diana’s music lessons, it was not likely for the concertina since she fancied singing concerts at the Academy of Music.
