'Concerto Grosso' is Charles Czarny’s second ballet. It’s divided into seven sections, which are concerned with the development of physical perfection and control of movement. Each section finds its impulse from a sport, profession, or athletic activity. The costumes, by Joop Stokvis, emphasize the mood of the ballet, which is light in quality.
