Congo River Malaria Healthcare System (usa)

The Index Project

The Index Project
Copenhagen, Denmark

The system blends high technology with the area’s traditional culture and works as a relationship between the healthcare providers and villagers to meet the common goal of healthy, malaria-free living in the Congo River Basin. Education on early malaria diagnosis and the need to keep the user-designed mosquito nets impregnated empowers the villagers. In addition, a mobile clinic was designed to provide access to the once inaccessible Congo River Basin.
