Congratulations on the wedding of Max and Emilie Gutmann

Wilhelm and David Gutmann came as immigrants from Moravia in the 1850s and built up a coal, steel, and manufacturing empire. At their works in Witkowitz (Vítkovice) they invested in the training and protection of their workers, not least to further their own interests. This album is an expression of gratitude from the employees to Wilhelm’s successor Max and his wife Emilie.
