Congress House is the headquarters of the Trades Union Congress (TUC). It was built between 1953 and 1957 to designs by David du R Aberdeen. It houses a Memorial Hall, Council Chamber and a library. The building also includes a courtyard that is home to the TUC War Memorial, created by the sculptor Jacob Epstein.
