White nylon conical shaped brassiere. The cups have layers of padding kept in place by concentric rings of top stitching which help to give the conical look. There is a gusset of elastic between the cups and nylon ribbon straps.

The brassiere is a size 32 and it was made by Naturana, in Germany.

The conical bra is an iconic piece of underwear from the 1950s. The circular stitching on the cups of this bra creates the fashionable pointed shape. It is made from nylon which was a relatively new material in the 1950s. Nylon was increasingly used for underwear as it made garments lighter and easier to wash.
