A arrangement from the Constance Spry Flower School display stand at Chelsea Flower Show in the early 1950s, with croton and anthurium leaves, white anturium and rhododendron. Spry notes in 'Party Flowers' the arrangement was a "group in which green colouring predominates. This was arranged for the Chelsea show. Its formality renders it suitable for decoration in places where gayer and more frivolous arrangements might be misplaced. A wonderful wax-like rhododendron sent to us from Sir Giles Loder puts this particular group out of range, alas, of everyday life. It has to be regarded as a treat for rarer occasions."
