Construction set:Lincoln Log Timbers

In the 1930s and 1940s, the company that produced Lincoln Logs construction sets also offered other building toys and play sets. Capitalizing on the name of the 16th president, the Chicago toy maker made wooden Lincoln Bricks, Lincoln Stones, Lincoln Barnyards, and other building sets. the J. L. Wright Company offered Lincoln Logs Timbers, square cross section timbers in place of its very popular round timbers. The set of timbers seem to put the company in competition with its own products.
