Similar to Silly Putty and Super Elastic Bubble Plastic, Wham-O's Super Stuff could be stretched, whipped, drooled, and impressed to make a number of different playthings. In a 1960s commercial, Wham-O noted that Super Stuff was "not a dough or a putty, but a new, new stuff," and "it's strange and eerie, a wonderful weirdy." The user was instructed to add water, mix, and shape Super Stuff.
