Over six days, M-City covered the control tower at Stavanger Airport, Sola, with his post-industrial stencil work. The completed 600 square metres large artwork was the first of its kind in the world. The final design for the tower mixes a background of different blues with highly detailed black and white stencils presenting post-industrial elements from the inner workings of various machinery. All sides of the tower were covered, offering the viewer a different perspective from all sides.

Mariusz Waras, professionally known as M-City, is a Polish artist best known for his large-scale industrial themed murals. Combining hundreds of hand-cut stencils, the artist creates monumental urban interventions mixing intricate black and white compositions with splashes of colour. The artist often draws inspiration from urban imagery like the factories, chimneys and cranes of his childhood in Eastern Europe.
