Gold (14 kt.) case ladies' manual winding, detached lever wristwatch. Crown at 12 o'clock winds and sets hands. Movement is HAMPDEN, nickel, 11/0, Model IV, 15 jewels, two-finger bridge, unadjusted, grade "upper 10," stem set and wound.

The movement on this watch started its life as a small "Lepine" (open-face) pocket watch. Originally, the crown and "12" positioned at 12 o'clock.
